Timeline

Saint Stephen School begins accepting applications after Labor Day and screenings / play dates take place beginning in October. These are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis once a completed application is received. We highly recommend you submit an application in early fall in order to ensure a timely interview.  **COVID-19 update - we are not able to screen any applicants in person at this time.  You will be contacted to confirm receipt of your application and given details of next steps.  At this time, we cannot offer visit days for applicants in any grade.  

November 1, 2021: Sibling and Parishioner application deadline - if you have a sibling of a current student, or are a registered parishioner of St. Monica's and would like to be considered in the first wave of applications, you must have your application submitted by the end of the day on November 1st. 

December 1, 2021: Deadline for applications for Pre K 3, Pre K 4 and Kindergarten for regular decisions - if you would like to apply for a spot in Pre K 3, Pre K 4 or Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year please submit your application before the end of the day on December 1st.  Applications received after this date are not guaranteed to be reviewed for the regular decision time frame. 

December 3, 2021: Sibling and Parishioner Decisions - decisions for the applicants who qualify as sibling or registered parishioners of St. Monica's will receive notification of their decision via the admissions portal by the end of the day on December 3rd.  Decisions from accepted applicant families are due back by Friday, December 17th to secure the spot.  

January 7, 2022: Pre K 3, Pre K 4 and Kindergarten Regular Decisions - decisions for regular (non sibling/parishioner) applicants that were received on or before December 1st will receive notification of their decision via the admissions portal by the end of the day on January 7th.  Decisions from accepted applicant families are due back by Friday, January 28th to secure the spot.  

Applications for First through Eighth grade are received and processed on a rolling basis.
