more than 2,000 years ago God delivered onto was his greatest gift his son and our Savior Jesus Christ the lord sent us his only son to teach the world tolerance patience humility and charity he was born as vulnerable in any other child into the protection of Mary and Joseph in a stable which provided Shelter From the elements and a very dangerous World while the message of Christmas Remains the Same as it has always been one of peace and joy our world today gross complex ever busier ever quick name information flashing from one side of the globe to another in an instant good-news-bad-news so much process and what a burden to do so in the midst of it all we can become overwhelmed with the burdens of our own lives work Health family finances education it never ends sometimes we need to turn it all the way off and breathe we just need to be and that is where that wonderful baby in a stable comes in it is our faith in Jesus and God the Father who sent us his only child that evening that provides all of us the ability and the peace of mind just stop and just be be in the presence of Our Lord isn't it perfect that Christmas comes when it does just those the light and freshness of summer and fall and the stresses of work and school take Road here comes the joyful yes I'm time of Advent and Christmas as we begin to this season just contemplate the wonderful extended family of Catholic schools of which we are all blessed to be a member of our community as welcoming tolerant kind and we provide our children with the tools necessary to succeed in life and with God's help we instill in them the strong Catholic values so they may experience all The Graces crossword in this life and Beyond this time of year let us allow children to teach us adults to slow down to take a moment to breathe a little Andre a simpler time in our own lives let us make our goal this Christmas to allow ourselves not only to experience the wonderment of Christmas but feel the joy and express it freely as our children do in the New Testament st. Paul the Apostle write Telus rejoice Waze pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances now as I always do I wish to express my gratefulness to our Archbishop Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan for his joyful support of our beloved Catholic schools and all of their loving communities I also say thank you to each Pastor principal and picture Who deliver our christ-centered academically excellent curriculum thanks to our donors and our benefactors who will allow us to grow and meet the demands of Education in the 24 century and thank you to our students and our families for being so devoted to our schools and its mission to bring Jesus into the world thank you for making this lifelong Catholic teacher so proud I love you all and I appreciate every single one of you and on behalf of everyone in the office of the superintendent We Wish You a peaceful and joyful blessed Christmas God bless you all and Merry Christmas and now as a Christmas gift weed to introduce the choir of St Stephen school in Manhattan a diamond
