“HE WHO WORKS WITH HIS HANDS IS A LABORER.
HE WHO WORKS WITH HIS HANDS AND HIS HEAD IS A CRAFTSMAN.
HE WHO WORKS WITH HIS HANDS AND HIS HEAD AND HIS HEART IS AN ARTIST.” ― FRANCIS OF ASSISI
Here in the Art Room, children will learn to use their hands, heads and hearts to create some pretty special works of art. They will learn to make connections between things they already know, and things that they can only imagine. They will learn to become creative problem solvers. They will find their medium, whether it’s pencil, paint, glue, clay or sculpture and learn to appreciate not just their own work, but to evaluate the work of peers and famous artists who have gone before them.
