Hi Everyone.
It is National Poetry Month, and I am excited to celebrate with you. April 30th is Poetry In Your Pocket Day; a national holiday where people spontaneously read poetry through out the country!
Since you are writing poetry this month I wanted to add a little Readers Theater to your life! Poetry is meant to be heard! I have created a flipgrid just for 3rd grade to share their poetry with each other. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Santora will be viewing the videos too and will be adding it to your Poetry curriculum.
Here is a video that will help you with your performance by Michael Rosen. He is hilarious!
https://youtu.be/RvV23xoZRkI
Once you watch my tutorial video below, and practice, the link to our own personal grid is here. If you are ready to create your video click the flipgrid link below. This is the same link you can use to see all of our classmates performances. This link is private and only students with a Saint Stephens email can access it. Have Fun and I can't wait to see you all!
