  4. Ronald McDonald House Service Project:

While their children are being treated at New York City Cancer Centers, the Ronald McDonald House of New York is a home away from home for families from around the country and around the world.  These families are faced with many expenses including the cost of food, paper goods, and other products while they are staying there; and some of the children’s illnesses require them to be there for months at a time.  The Parents Pantry Programs was created to alleviate some of these costs. Schools throughout Manhattan are asked to help to support these families in need by providing food and pantry staples.

As a kick-off to the November 9th Fun Run, St. Stephen School will support the Parents Pantry Program by hosting our annual collection from November 4th - November 8th.  We have been asked to focus on pantry items listed in the attached file, but it is not meant to restrict you if you have other pantry items you wish to donate. Eighth graders will be helping with the collection during morning prayers.  The families and staff of the Ronald McDonald house thank you in advance for your generosity.

  5. Families that signed up for pizza lunch will be billed through the SMART system in November. Those that signed up late will likely see the charge in the December billing. If you made changes to your pizza order after the initial lunch, please send in cash or a check (made out to St. Stephen of Hungary School Parents Association) for the difference.
