There will be a Props Dept Zoom this Wednesday May 6 at 3 pm to touch base about where things are with Into The Woods and to get an interview with you about your experiences making props for the show. Ms. Strain will ask you a few questions and you get to give your views and insights. Some of you have already been interviewed but you still need to attend. Since you are such an important part of the show, I am happy Ms. Strain is including you in the video that is being made for the show.

If you were in Props Dept last semester you are also being interviewed so please attend the meeting.

Here’s the fun part…I’m attaching a picture for you to upload for your virtual background. It was the closest thing I could find to our big styrofoam trees.

Here’s how you do it, if you don’t already know…
Save the attached picture of t spooky trees on your computer
Open Zoom
click on the up arrow to the right of the little video camera on the bottom left of the window (where it says “stop video)
click on “choose virtual background”
under the big picture of you, to the right, click on the + sign
click “add image”
choose the spooky tree image you just saved (you can search for 'into the woods zoom background')
double click on the image to select it (or click “choose”)
And you should be in the forest !

It will look really amazing if we are all on the zoom call and have a consistent background.

I stayed up late last night editing our video and it is going to be amazing! The only problem is you are all not in it! :-(

If I did not get to interview you last week PLEASE be on the rehearsal call tomorrow. Hearing how you feel about the show, your character and your experience is adding so much to our virtual sneak peek.

We will hopefully finish the interviews tomorrow and my hope is we will have the sneak peek next week. We will watch it together in our last class on May 11 the and release it to the community on May 12th.

It is up to you whether you are in it at this point. If you don't submit the work we work with what we have.

Add any video for the opening here. Be sure to label it with your character and scene, so I can pass it along.

Please remember that all we should hear is your voice in the video. Put the recording in your ear and record the whole song even if you only sing at the end.

Also, WE CAN SEE YOU! Please stand up and sing as if you were performing in the show.
