All About Miss Maureen

Dear Pre-K 3 Families,

Welcome to a new school year! It has been an exciting start to our year meeting each of you and your amazing children. So many great things happen during the Pre-K 3 school year, and I am excited to work with your child to help them discover a love for learning. Pre-K 3 is such a wonderful time of exploration and growth. My objectives in Pre-K 3 are to help better prepare your child emotionally, socially, and academically in a positive and nurturing environment.

This will be my ninth year at Saint Stephen of Hungary School. I am from Westchester, NY, where I attended Catholic School from Pre-K through twelfth grade. After high school, I went to Siena College where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. Thereafter, I earned my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Fordham University. I have a passion for teaching and I have been fortunate to work both in Pre-K 3, as well as in Kindergarten here at Saint Stephen’s. My time here has been wonderful. The children, parents, teachers, and overall community are a dream to be a part of and I know your child will thrive here.
