Parents' Association

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Saint Stephen of Hungary School Parents’ Association (PA), I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families for the 2017-18 school year.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a parent of two children at the school. Our family has been part of the school community for over seven years and I am honored and privileged to serve all of you as the new PA President.

As a parent or guardian of a Saint Stephen of Hungary student, you are automatically a member of the PA. The role of the PA by is to provide our students with numerous activities and events to enrich their daily lives at school, while also supporting the Administration’s efforts to enhance the teaching and learning environment. The year gets off to a quick start with pizza and pasta lunches, an annual Halloween Carnival and our Giving Thanks Luncheon. We will also continue providing support for other activities including Mystery Reader, Copy Support for teachers, and Library Duty.

I know that many parents are busy with the demands of everyday life, but please know that any contribution of your time and efforts can significantly contribute to the PA’s efforts. If you haven’t already, we sincerely hope you will consider lending your support during the year. Whether you can give an hour a year or an hour a week, there is a volunteer opportunity that is the right fit for you. Please read more about all of the various activities of the PA and how you can become involved.

We rely on your support and invite you to attend our monthly meetings in the auditorium. Our first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd at 6 pm.

I look forward to seeing you in September as we prepare for an exciting school year ahead!

Best regards,

Julie Meta
