The strategic planning document, undertaken between May and December 2012, creates a roadmap for Saint Stephen of Hungary School and charts its forward momentum and initial plans for the next five years. It is designed to include all school community participants: the head of school and administration, faculty, students, parents and grandparents, parishioners, alumni, local businesses, the Archdiocese of New York, local foundations and corporations. It provides a framework for decision-making and clarifies the school's core values and how its achievements will be measured. It takes into account the enormous forward progress at Saint Stephen School over the last three years and the new organizational structure including designated staff for the first time to address curriculum and student life as well as administrative areas such as admissions, placement and development. The strategy is designed to be revisited periodically and to be a living, breathing document that reflects the uniqueness and culture of the Saint Stephen community, in which each stakeholder is treated as an individual with individual needs and interest.
