Pre-Kindergarten 4A

Dear Pre-K 4A Families,

             I hope everyone had a joyful and relaxing summer. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Amy Lynch and I am honored to be your child's Pre-K 4 teacher. This is my 6th year at St. Stephen School. My full time assistant is Doreen Farrugia.

            I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the year ahead. We follow the Comprehensive and Integrated Curriculum Model of Early Childhood Education. All concepts taught are based on national education standards and are taught in an integrated way across all disciplines (math, literacy, etc) in the curriculum. All lessons are age-appropriate and are presented in a hands-on approach. The classroom is divided into learning centers, which reinforce the skills learned.

            I strongly believe communication is the key to great parent-teacher relationships. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at alynch@saintstephenschool.org. For up to date classroom information, please visit the school website frequently. I will be updating the class page on a weekly basis with all of the concepts taught.

            Using the school's address, please send a small, current picture of your child for our "Wall of Fame" project. We will be working on this on the first day of school.
