Pre-Kindergarten 3A

Dear Pre K-3 Families:

I would like to begin by congratulating you for selecting a great school for your child/children. I have been just as fortunate to have both my children share wonderful experiences and memories at St. Stephen.  I look forward to working closely with all of you and am very excited about meeting the children. I hope they are just as excited. I am looking forward to watching them grow and build close relationships with their peers.  And, I can’t wait to listen to their funny stories!

I hope you are preparing your child for school to help ease any separation anxieties. Having discussions about class projects, activities and trips will help this transition. During the first few weeks of September, we will be visiting the Pumpkin Farm. A great way to help your child prepare for school is by visiting your local library or bookstore. Barnes and Noble usually has a “Back to School” display with a great selection of literature about the first days of school. Reading with your child will better prepare him/her for story time in Pre K-3. You can also visit the websites we use at school, www.STARFALL.com and www.PBSkids.org. Enjoy the rest of the summer! I look forward to seeing you and your child in September.
